Personal Training with Adrian

ADIE'S BACKGROUND

12 years military service served in a highly fitness focused infantry role, Adie took his strength and athleticism to the highest standards to excel at soldiering. Spending his evenings in the gym on top of batallion fitness training and balancing out strength training with tabbing in his spare time.

During service Adie competed in extreme fitness and squadding competitions including Cambian Patrol taking silver at the British Armys premier gruelling patrolling event attracting teams from armies across the world.

Adie completed combat tour in Afghan and recieved individual recognition from the US army on exercise in the swamps of Louisiana.

On leaving the army he completed his lvl2 fitness trainer and lvl3 personal training course in addition to a leadership in running fitness qualification with British Athletics and Mental Health First Aid course.

Since working as a personal trainer Adie been helping clients gain results in both strength, performance and weight loss and has been leading classes including land based training for youth swimming teams.

Adrian has 20 years knowledge and experience in the field of bodybuilding and has competed in athletic events, fitness challenges and canicross racing in the past.

 

HIS ETHOS

Adrian brings from his military career not just the discipline, integrity, adaptability, commitment and work ethos of a soldier but a deep understanding of ill mental health and the impact of it's symptoms from the day to day lack of interest in things to more extreme impact it can have on your thoughts and feelings.

Personal experience drives Adrian to want to help people change their lives, first through fitness and it's impact on your physical and mental health and secondly with a desire to develop his knowledge through counselling qualifications to be able to make a bigger impact.

Adrian has a person focused approach to personal training, meaning that goals are set with you, programmes are designed for you, defined with you and results are achieved by you. Everything we do will be together and the personal training service tailored just to you.

KATIE'S BACKGROUND

 

MY ETHOS - As a running coach and nutritionist, I will always advocate a truly Natural Approach to training and nutrition. What this means in a practical sense:


- My nutrition advice and running programmes won't include unnecessary supplements, pre-workout recommendations, skinny teas or quick fix fad diets

- If your diet is deficient in something, we'll find the best solution for you in natural food sources, not tablet forms where your body misses out on the benefits of other vital vitamins and minerals from natural food.

- My training advice and programmes will be supported by the right natural sources of fuel not luminous liquids and insulin surging sugary bars for you to get the maximum out of your training sessions and optimal performance.

- Where relevant, training methods and techniques will be brought back to basics looking at the muscle activation paths used to perform specific functions and how we can safely increase resistance, impact, and speed without using unnecessary aids, quick fixes to achieve more within your bodies natural limits.

- I am open to all questions about performance-enhancing drugs and will provide a confidential unbiased, non-judgemental advice service to educate and assist explaining the physiological and mental impact of chemicals you won't get from the guy in the back of the gym and work with you on how to smash your performance goals the right way.

This means my advice is unbiased, free from industry sales recommendations and based on what is best for you as an individual / athlete.

Put simply I'm a coach focused on personalised nutrition that is best for you, while there are many diets out there can yield positive results I believe that there is no one right diet for everyone as we all have so many genetic, environmental and lifestyle variables affecting our health and goals.

This is why I work with you to create a nutrition plan that works for you considering your current position through assessment, your goals, all of the factors impacting you whether that is part of your dna, or your occupation to make sure we create something that not only delivers results that are right for you but is enjoyable and sustainable.

I'm not here to create unrealistic, radical and unachievable methods and goals but direct you on a sustainable pathway that will actually work for you.
